It would be impossible to see all that Paris has to offer. But why not come and find out about the history of Paris during an informative 90-minute visit to this multimedia museum. History and culture will be the central themes of this interactive visit. Your visit will consist of 3 stages: Firstly, thanks to a 50-minute multimedia film projected onto a big screen and translated into 14 languages, you will have a whistle-stop tour of 2000 years of historic events, monuments and characters which have made their mark on the history of the French capital. This will also enable you to identify the places that you want to see during your stay in Paris. Next, it will be time for a visit to Miniature-Paris, which will help to demystify the grandeur of the City of Lights. The interactive model and touch screens will help you to get your bearings. The model details some 156 sites, so you won't miss a thing during your trip to Paris! Finally, 5 plasma screens will present a thematic view of the capital, looking at: Paris and the Seine, the Mysteries of Paris, Monumental Paris, Paris by night, and Stroller's Paris. For each of these different aspects of the capital, you will see a map which highlights the key landmarks. You will even be able to see 3D images of key Parisian monuments and watch a screening of one of the first Lumiere brothers' films about the former Trocadero Palace. The film was made in 1898; just 9 years after the opening of the Eiffel Tower! Once you have completed the visit, and know more about the places in Paris that you'd like to see, you will be able to stroll around and even do some shopping, as the museum is situated right at the heart of an exceptional shopping district!
